Handcrafted Black Crocodile Shield and Spear

This is a replica of an African Battle Shield.

It is based off the Zulu Shield with the exception of the fur on the shield. Traditional Zulu shields use only cow hide but I used a Faux Black Crocodile material. (Not Real Skin.)

It stand just over 3 ft from the Mgobo or center pole, which is hand wrapped with feathers.

The Shield is made of wood and is 2ft tall and 12.5 in wide. T

The Assegai or Spear is 3 ft long with a handcrafted 4 in metal tip.(Please use caution when handling)

The Knob-Kerrie or ball club is handcrafted from a 4 inch wooden block. The total length of the club is little over 3 feet.  (Not featured on this item)

It is perfect for standing against the wall or for hanging.
