This is a replica of an African Battle Shield.
It is based off the Zulu Shield with the exception of the fur on the shield. Traditional Zulu shields use only cow hide but I used a Faux Leopard material. (Not Real Skin.)
It stand just over 3 ft from the Mgobo or center pole, which is hand wrapped with feathers.
The Shield is made of wood and is 2ft tall and 12.5 in wide.
The Assegai or Spear is 3 ft long with a handcrafted 4 in metal tip.(Please use caution when handling)
The Knob-Kerrie or ball club is handcrafted from a 4 inch wooden block. The total length of the club is little over 3 feet.
It is perfect for standing against the wall or for hanging.
